Install it: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen like an app, with the BCMonster icon.
Install it: in Chrome tap the โฎ menu, then Add to Home screen (or Install app). It opens full screen like an app, with the BCMonster icon.
Install it (optional): in Chrome or Edge click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (or menu โ Cast, save and share โ Install page as app). It then runs in its own window.
Install it (optional): in Safari choose File โ Add to Dock; in Chrome click the install icon in the address bar. It then runs in its own window.
chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu.Mining runs your device's processor and graphics chip at full power for long periods. That makes the device hot, drains and wears the battery, and may shorten the life of the device.
BCMonster is not responsible for any damage to, or loss of, your device, its battery, your data or anything else that results from using this miner. You use it entirely at your own risk.
By tapping Continue you confirm that you have read this and accept all responsibility for mining on this device.
Needs iOS 16.4 or newer. That is when Safari added WebAssembly SIMD, which the miner uses. The oldest iPhones that can run it are the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X, updated to iOS 16.4 or later (Settings โ General โ Software Update). iPhone 7 and older stop at iOS 15 and can't run it.
Cores vs threads: a core is a physical processor inside the chip. A thread here is one copy of the miner running on it. Apple chips run one thread per core (no hyper-threading), so the right number of threads is the number of cores. More threads than cores just take turns and add no speed.
Every supported iPhone has a 6-core CPU: 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Start with 6 threads. If the phone gets hot or slows down, step down to 4: that keeps the 2 fast cores busy and gives up only the slow ones.

iPads: iPads with an A-series chip (iPad, iPad mini, older iPad Air) have 6 cores. Most M-series iPads (M1, M2, M3) have 8 and the M4 iPad Pro has 9 or 10, so try 8 threads on those.
Safari doesn't tell websites the real core count (it says 4 on a 6-core iPhone), so pick threads from this list rather than what your browser reports. The GPU needs iOS 26 or newer.
Needs Chrome 91 or newer (WebAssembly SIMD) for the CPU, and Chrome 121+ on Android 12 or newer for the GPU. Samsung Internet and other Chromium browsers work too.
Android phones report their real core count, and the app starts at that and measures. Most flagship chips have 8 cores in three speed classes; the slowest cores add little, so the best count is often below 8.

Any 64-bit Chrome, Edge or Firefox runs the CPU miner. The GPU needs WebGPU: Chrome or Edge 113+, or Firefox 141+ on Windows. Most AMD, NVIDIA and Intel graphics from the last several years work.
Cores vs threads: most Intel and AMD desktop CPUs run 2 threads per core (Hyper-Threading / SMT), and the browser reports the thread count. The app starts one below that, to leave your system responsive, and measures from there.
Browsers can't use the CPU's AES and carry-less-multiply instructions, so a native miner is several times faster on the CPU; the GPU side uses all the lanes your graphics card allows (up to 65,536).
Safari 26 (macOS 26) or Chrome 113+ for the GPU. Any recent Safari, Chrome or Firefox runs the CPU miner.
Apple silicon Macs run one thread per core: M1, M2 and M3 have 8 cores and the M4 has 10; Pro, Max and Ultra chips have more. Intel Macs run 2 threads per core. The app measures and picks the fastest count.
