Bitaxe mining pool settings

Point your Bitaxe or NerdQAxe at BCMonster and mine any SHA-256 coin solo or in the pool — with Stratum V2 for AxeOS.

Bitaxe settings (AxeOS)

# AxeOS → Settings → Stratum
Stratum URL: bcmonster.com
Port: 3333 (BTC — see the table for other coins)
User: YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS.bitaxe1
Password: x (pool) — or m=solo

A Bitaxe has a real BM13xx SHA-256 ASIC chip, so it belongs on the Standard ports — not the ESP32 lottery ports. Every coin works with the same Bitaxe:

BCH — Bitcoin Cash35553557
DGB — DigiByte44444446

Stratum V2: AxeOS 2.14+ and Harlo-OS can use V2 on the same ports — see Stratum V2 setup.

Solo or pool with a Bitaxe?

A ~1 TH/s Bitaxe finding a Bitcoin block solo is a lottery ticket — rare, but it happens. Lower-difficulty coins like Bitcoin II, Bitcoin Cash II and Peercoin give much better solo odds. Pool mode pays small, steady amounts instead. You can switch any time by changing the password.

Your best share is tracked on the best share leaderboard.

Why BCMonster

Common questions

What pool should I use for my Bitaxe?

Any stratum pool works. On BCMonster use bcmonster.com port 3333 for Bitcoin (or another coin's Standard port), your wallet address as the user, and x for pool or m=solo for solo.

Should a Bitaxe use the NerdMiner / ESP32 ports?

No. A Bitaxe has a real SHA-256 ASIC and should use the Standard ports (3333 for BTC). The 999x/998x ports are for ESP32 NerdMiners.

Does Bitaxe support Stratum V2 on BCMonster?

Yes, AxeOS 2.14+ and Harlo-OS. Use the same host and port, choose Stratum V2 and paste the pool key from the BCMonster FAQ.
