About Bitcoin mining

Bitcoin is the original SHA-256 proof-of-work coin. A single home miner has long odds of finding a block, which is exactly why solo "lottery" mining with a Bitaxe or NerdMiner is popular — and why bigger miners usually pool. BCMonster lets you do either with one password change.

Every BTC share also works on Namecoin and Fractal Bitcoin through merge mining, at no extra power cost.

Why mine BTC on BCMonster

Common questions

What is the BCMonster Bitcoin stratum address?

stratum+tcp://bcmonster.com:3333 (Standard), 3334 (Pro / rentals), 3337 (Elite), or 9999 for ESP32 lottery miners. Username is your BTC address, password x for pool or m=solo for solo.

Can I solo mine Bitcoin on BCMonster?

Yes. Set the password to m=solo, or use the solo ports (3335 Standard, 3336 Pro, 3338 Elite). If you find a block you keep the whole reward minus the 1.5% fee.
