Stratum V2 runs on the same ports you already use — choose V2 in your miner and paste the pool key.

V2 has no password field, so to solo mine use the coin's solo port (BTC 3335 / 3336 / 3338). ESP32 lottery ports and TLS ports stay V1.
V2 encrypts and authenticates the connection between your miner and the pool, so nobody in between — public Wi-Fi, a compromised router, your ISP — can read it or redirect your hashrate. Your miner checks BCMonster's key every time it connects. Full details in the FAQ.
